Ferret versus Dog Tricks - The Jungle Book Ferrets
https://youtu.be/ccKsqZj3Vrg The ferrets want to be like the dogs too! Clipper has some fur shaved from his neck in the video, he had a strange problem with his tail and had a blood test so we could try and find out what was going on, I'm pleased to say he is fine and as you can see his tail is looking a lot more normal. All of the training was done using force-free, aversion-free, reward based methods. Everything from their nip-training to leaving food to crossing their paws was done without even using the word 'no' or doing anything that wasn't fun for them- reward based training is too effective to need it! The ferrets in the video are: - Clipper and Sprite (the albinos) they are brother and sister and came into ferret rescue when they were just 5 weeks old. I have had them just over a year and they are the most fun, bouncy, lively, busy, cheeky ferrets you could imagine - they know how to enjoy themselves! - Voxel (the poley) and Matrix (very pale silver) they are about 7 months old in the video and I've had them since they were four months, they came into ferret rescue when their previous owner went to prison. Voxel is a sweet and sensitive ferret who enjoys playing and eating! Matrix is a soppy cuddlebum who likes a lap to curl up on! The dogs are Lad (grey and white) who is eight years old and Rolo (brown and white) who is around four years old. Lad is fairly docile for a border collie in the house (although a proper collie hen on walks!) and Rolo always approaches everything with full enthusiasm! Please feel free to share and subscribe :-)
