Too many raw egg whites can cause a biotin deficiency which can lead to skin, hair and nail disorders (although the yolks contain lots of biotin). There is a very small risk of salmonella when eating raw egg so our ferrets mostly have their eggs cooked (boiled or scrambled), but they do like the taste of raw best!
