https://youtu.be/hevu7xKxc7Y www.starescue.org.uk Our ferrets sometimes go racing with STA Rescue at the weekends, this is what happens on a typical race day! During the summer months, we take the ferrets out to Shows and Fetes, in Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, providing ferret racing and ferret welfare PR. Not only is this a fun day out for both us and the ferrets, but it gives us a chance to promote ferret welfare as well as earning some much needed funds for the rescue. We attend all sorts of shows, including country shows, school fetes, festivals and weddings. We can race indoors or outdoors. The ferrets who do the races were all rescues themselves at one point, they all now have loving homes but they raise money for other ferrets who haven't been so lucky yet and need caring for in the rescue shelter.
